This Immersive Mixed Reality (IMR) experience dives into how climate change is reshaping baseball, from rising temperatures to shifting wind and air density. Set in the Seattle Mariners stadium and powered by T-Mobile and MLB, it reveals the science behind the game’s evolving dynamics. With real-time insights and cutting-edge tech, this project amps up fan engagement while showcasing how baseball adapts to a changing world.

OBJECTIVE

This project leverages Immersive Mixed Reality (IMR) technology to explore the effects of climate change on the game of baseball, focusing on factors such as warming temperatures, wind intensity, and air density. Set in the Seattle Mariners baseball stadium and sponsored by T-Mobile in collaboration with the MLB, the project examines how these environmental changes influence gameplay, player performance, and stadium dynamics. The experience highlights the role of T-Mobile's mobile network in enhancing fan engagement and providing real-time insights into the science behind baseball's evolving conditions. By combining education and entertainment, the project aims to deepen users' understanding of climate impacts on sports while showcasing practical strategies for adaptation and innovation in the game.

-Replicate and model the Seattle Mariner’s baseball stadium ( Encompasses Modeling, Texturing, Lighting, and Set Dressing).

-Material RND for Grass Material that is optimized for real-time capture
